so this one time, my husband and i went on vacation and 4 new babies were born into the family. FOUR! we were gone for 5 days!! i guess that's what happens when you have a ginormous family!

this girl is really and truly the most beautiful little person in the world, and by far my easiest babe to date. i could not get enough of her cute face and perfect little girlie features.

this girl can turn on the charm faster than any other baby i've ever known. one second she'll be almost on the verge of tears, and the next second be the absolute happiest thing in the world. 

her little smile is SO infectious! love her!

christmas babes

what was supposed to be a simple christmas photo shoot quickly turned into a huge production with way more people involved than originally planned. why not make the most of this set-up while it was up and ready? brilliant. twinkle lights + fake snow + lots of cute little people is always a good idea.

the morning started out frigid and snowy, but by the time these two stepped out of the temple, newly married and completely head over heels, it was blue skies and giddy smiles the rest of the day.  still beyond freezing, but sunny. i hadn't met these two before this day. right away it was obvious the love these two have for each other and the fun they will no doubt have through the years.  seriously, this girl is a hoot. i couldn't stop laughing at her all morning.

baby penny.

penny came to me at 2 months old... just 7 weeks older than the babies i'm used to shooting and a bit out of the "ideal" stage. at least that's what we thought going into it--

she cooed, she smiled, she batted her beautiful eyelashes at me, we even had a full-on conversation for a good 2 minutes. so adorable! 

and then she pooped and completely conked out. isn't that how it always goes?? 

she is such a sweet and yummy little one. i love me some chubby babies. 

her blessing dress was made from her mom's wedding dress. i love that!

baby quincee.

it's no wonder why this little babe is so beautiful- her mom is absolutely stunning. 

it's a little (a lot) unfair that women can actually look like her after having a baby. seriously. 

and quincee! i'm in love with everything about her- her name, her sweet disposition, her perfect little girly features... she was a dream to shoot. 

 i'm such a sucker for details... especially on babies. she is so perfect.

 i just couldn't resist these two... i guess i now know exactly how she felt about me! :)
